Provincial Director Interim Position Open
Hi Members,
Please be advised that Shelly Lewis has needed to resign from her duties as the Darts BC Provincial Director due to family health concerns.
I want to take this opportunity to thank Shelly for all of her contributions and support. Shelly has been instrumental in organizing fundraisers, hosting and supporting multiple tournaments, driving the tablet use in tournaments and leagues, and sending our adult players to the Nationals.
Thank you Shelly for all that you have done for Darts BC!
With Shelly's departure we have an interim Provincial Director position effective immediately which will run through until a Provincial Director is elected after our 2025 Provincials. If you are a member in good standing and are interested in this opportunity then please send me an email at dbca.pres@gmail.com. All applicants will be reviewed by the Executive team and a decision will be made by the Executive on October 14, 2024.
This is an excellent introduction to this position, especially if you would like to become the next Provincial Director. Please see the below key responsibilities:
- Report submission at the AGM
- Supporting the Adult Provincials (organizing the 2025 Provincials)
- Is the primary contact between members and the NDFC
- Organize the logistics of sending players to the Adult National Championships
- Lead fundraising efforts for Darts BC
